We went to the farmer’s market a few days ago and I got three apples for $1.  Helllooo, applesauce!

Homemade Applesauce

**Make about 1 apple per person**

small dash of cinnamon per apple
1/2 tsp brown sugar per apple

Wash, peel and chop up the apples into small cubes.

Heat a pan with a little non-stick spray and cook the apples, cinnamon, and sugar, covered, until soft (about 5 minutes).

Mash with a potato masher.

Serve warm or cold.
