Stuffed Mushrooms

 There is no set number of ingredients, because it depends on how many servings you want/mushrooms you have.  So this is just a guide for how to make these rather than a specific recipe.

white mushrooms
onion, chopped
dried or fresh rosemary
fresh garlic, minced
grated cheese of choice (optional, I use cheddar)
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Wash the mushrooms by wiping them clean with a damp paper towel.

Remove the stems and hollow the mushrooms out using a small spoon, reserving the meat that is removed.

Set the hollowed-out mushrooms aside on a baking sheet.  Chop up the removed mushroom meat.

In a heated and lightly oiled pan, cook together the chopped mushroom, onion, rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper in any ratio that you would like.  Cook until most of the water has evaporated (5-6 minutes).

Remove from heat and transfer this mix to a bowl.  Mix in enough breadcrumbs to bind together the ingredients.  Add in cheese if you’re using it.

Stuff the mushroom shells (which are on the baking sheet) with this mix.  Top with more cheese if desired.

Bake, uncovered, for 10-15 minutes.
